Flamed Green Porphyry
What type of rock is porphyry? Porphyry is an igneous rock made up of quartz, feldspar, and other large grain crystals dispersed throughout a fine-grained rock mass. The matrix is made up of either indistinguishable crystals (aphanitic in basalt) or easily discernible crystals (phandritic in granite). Our green porphyry comes from Fujian province in China. Chinese porphyry stone is a famous building material.
